The lake is a ten-minute walk away: stroll along the shore to the wooden baths, the most wonderful way to end a summer day. The old town, its narrow streets, and churches are easily explored on foot from the hotel.

As for museums, the city features several top-tier ones, spanning fine arts and design; reception will inform you which ones are open on the day of your visit and which ones require advance booking.

For a day out of the city, trains depart from the central station every half hour towards the lakes and the mountains. Ask us: we will tell you what is worth the trip depending on the weather of the day.

The Zürich Card gives access to all public transport in the city and its region — tram, bus, train, boat, funicular and cable car — in 2nd class and without limit, for 24 or 72 hours.

It also opens the doors to many museums for free and gives discounts in the city's shops and restaurants.

It can be purchased online, at the tourist office of the central station, or directly at our reception. Ask us: depending on the duration of your stay and what you plan to visit, it is not always the most advantageous option, and we will tell you honestly.

Zurich is very easy to cross by bike. ZüriVelo, the city's PubliBike service, has nearly 200 stations: classic bikes and electric bikes, available for self-service.

To borrow a bike: open the PubliBike application, scan the QR code on the handlebars, and go. If you have a SwissPass, simply bring it close to the front of the handlebars until the lock opens — no registration is required.

The nearest station is a few minutes walk away; ask us which one at reception. We also lend you a helmet and a lock if you need them.
